Episode description:
Faith Fay is an artist, athlete, actress, film producer, and conservationist. She and I met while I was on Oahu at a Surfrider Foundation event. For those of you who don’t know, Surfrider is a non-profit that works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. I had a wonderful time talking with her and hearing about her various adventures and projects around both Hawaii and the globe. From surfing and diving on Oahu to trekking glaciers in Alaska, and filming documentaries in Southern America, she has a vast collection of wicked experiences I was stoked to hear about. In this conversation we really cover a lot of ground, from her entry into surfing through the filming of Soul Surfer, to how her career has revolved around the ocean, the joy she receives from building and creating art that might inspire and connect others, Hawaiian culture, and moving forward in life with faith that actions done with your best intentions will lead you towards a better life. I absolutely loved this chat with Faith and I know you will too. Enjoy!
